Ashley Intartaglia discussed the price tag of combating terrorism abroad. She joined host Gregg Jarrett and fellow political consultant Joe Lestingi to discuss new information released from the Pentagon showing more than $2.7 billion spent fighting ISIS terrorists.
“The number I found most interesting was that about 55% of that funding is going to airstrikes,” said Intartaglia. “The problem with the airstrikes are that right now our rules of engagement are such that it’s taking an hour – sometimes 5 hours – to get clearance for some of these airstrikes.”
“We’re spending a large portion of that on something that should essentially be a support role and not a main tactic.”
