“I’m not sure there was anything the governor could politely or correctly do other than walking away,” said Goodman.

“It really is a question again of your level of confidence in this situation, and this one clearly had all the markings of trouble,” added Goodman.

  1. I haven’t always agreed with the way Mr. Scott handled an particular issue or what he said on a particular topic however I believe he is as sincere as a politician can be. To address the specific question; did he handle this situation appropriately? I believe Mr. Scott handled this situation the only way anyone could. Walking away was appropriate as this person clearly did not want to have a conversation about the issue, she only wanted to make a statement which gave Mr. Scott no opportunity to offer his explanation. It’s sad, that this very serious issue is addressed in such a selfish manner by this person.
