Adam Goodman joined host Charles Payne and fellow panelists political analyst Gina Loudon, Criminal Defense Attorney Eric Guster, and Florida Representative Ron DeSantis to discuss the meeting between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton.
Loretta Lynch, U.S. Attorney General, met with the former president despite the ongoing investigation of the Hillary Clinton email server. Bill Clinton and Lynch had a private, unplanned meeting at the Phoenix airport last week.
Payne noted that this was a bad week for Hillary Clinton, whose campaign has been walking a thin line for a long time.
“This is just a pattern,” said Goodman. “I think that Hillary Clinton has a paranoia about being imperfect. Every time she gets caught, every time her team gets caught doing things that don’t add up, that don’t make sense, that aren’t truthful, she always has an answer for it except for the truth.”
“This election, when it comes down to it, is going to be some kind of referendum on whether or not Hillary is imperfect enough to square with the American public… and so far, I don’t think so.”
Goodman also says that Lynch has no options but to investigate Hillary Clinton under the overwhelming evidence from the investigating agencies, including the FBI.
Lynch insists the conversation was about their grandchildren, golf, and similar personal matters.
