Adam Goodman joined former Democratic congressman Jim Davis to discuss the current political climate on News Channel 8 (WFLA) in Tampa, FL.
When asked about Jeb Bush’s announcement for presidential candidacy, Goodman said Jeb’s track record in Florida will be front and center.
“He kind of fits the mold, I think, of what people are looking for,” said Goodman, “someone genuine and real.”
This record includes Bush’s controversial actions in education, including standardized testing.
In response to the early polling results, Goodman reminded viewers that we are a long way from the first primaries next spring. “We’ve got this great audition called the debates, and I think a lot of careers can be made or broken starting in August when the first debate takes place.”
